Organic Mascara Review

Organic Mascara

I know you want to know where Organic Mascara is a scam or not and if it really works? I completely understand how you feel because just a few weeks ago, I was looking for a review of Organic Mascara myself. But I didn't find anything genuine and that's why I created this website to help people like you make an informed decision before buying. I also want to share my story with you in the process 🙂 By the way, if you're looking to visit the official website, please click here

The Struggle
I had issues with my regular mascara.  Actually at first I thought it was an issue with my eye itself.  After going to the doctor, he suggested that I try not wearing any eye makeup for a while.  That kind of solved the problem.  I mean, my eye problems cleared up but I could no longer wear mascara or eye shadow.

That's when I heard about the chemicals in the mascara.  I figured that if  I could get something without the toxic chemicals included my eyes would stay healthy and I could wear eye make-up.  I found out that some mascara in the past used mercury.  I guess the reason was that the mercury killed germs and resisted wearing down but the idea of putting mercury on my body was not comforting.

The Failures
I tried several different manufactures products.  Some said they were organic but apparently the definition was pretty loose.  Upon checking the contents, there were items from the Mascara BLACK LIST that were listed in the ingredients.  However, after doing some searching I was able to find some ORGANIC MASCARA that seemed to not have any bad items added.

Organic Mascara Success

Finally, after a great deal of searching and asking around I was told about a couple different mascara products that not only appeared to be organic but truly are organic!  The search actually took much longer than I anticipated.  However, it was Dr. Hauschka that saved me (okay helped me).

Dr.Hauschka Volume Organic Mascara

I was not too concerned about the price as I typically expect to pay more for organic goods.  However, I was extremely surprised to find out just how affordable the mascara was compared to what I used to buy.  Mind you, I bought qualify mascara that lasted.  I have found the organic mascara to last just as long.  I have seen no loss in quality although now I know the ingredients are of the highest quality and not going to hurt me.

For those that are interested, I also like the organic eyeliner as well.

The other organic mascara that I have had great success with is from Nvey. It works exactly the same and lasts just as long as the Dr Hauschka's product. I strongly endorse this product as well:

Organic Mascara For Everyone!

I personally do not sell these mascara's. However, I have provided the link in case you are interested in the products that have helped me with my mascara problem. If you need organic mascara, these are the ones that seem to help the most.  If and when I come across others I will let you know.  Please comment below if you find something that you like and you think myself and others would be able to use.  With your suggestions, we can all get good organic mascara options for us to use.  Not only do I love organic mascara, I need organic mascara.

Just thought you might want to know, Hauschka isn’t organic (his mascara tests moderately toxic as opposed to less toxic on the Cosmetics Database), and that both Nvey and Hauschka refuse to sign an agreement with the EWG. Both companies won’t guarantee that they or their suppliers don’t test on our animal friends, either. I continue my quest for truly organic AND ethical!!!! Thanks for your input, though.

Just wondering if there was any updated news on the organic mascara? Have either Nvey or DrHauschka signed with the EWG yet? Has anyone found a “true organic” mascara? The one I’ve used for years by Mabeline all of a sudden has caused my eyes to be red, inflamed, watery and itchy…I suspect there has been a formula change!
